Power BI for Telecoms: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why should a telecoms provider hire a Power BI expert?

Telecoms companies manage vast, high-velocity datasets from billing systems, network infrastructure, and CRM platforms. A Power BI expert unifies these complex data streams, providing real-time visibility into subscriber trends and network health, which is essential for reducing churn and optimizing infrastructure spend.

  • What does your Power BI consultancy offer for the telecoms sector?

Our consultancy provides a specialized data framework designed for connectivity providers. We focus on automating regulatory reporting, visualizing subscriber life cycles, and building interactive dashboards that track ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and network uptime across your entire footprint.

  • Can Power BI help with churn analysis and subscriber retention?

Absolutely. We build predictive Power BI models that identify at-risk subscribers by analysing usage patterns and support interactions. By visualizing these trends, a Power BI expert helps your marketing and retention teams take proactive steps to reduce churn before it impacts your bottom line.

  • How does a Power BI expert handle high-volume network and CDR data?

Telecoms data is massive, often involving millions of Call Detail Records (CDRs). Our consultancy specializes in optimizing Power BI data models and using DirectQuery or Aggregations to ensure your reports remain lightning-fast, even when processing billions of rows of network performance data.
